Underground Utility Foreman Pipe Layer

Job Description:
As the Underground Utility Foreman Pipe Layer , you will be responsible for installing, overseeing, and managing crews in the field, ensuring the successful completion of underground utility projects including storm, water, and sewer. You will play a pivotal role in project execution, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while providing mentorship and leadership to your team. We are looking for someone with a passion for problem-solving, a focus on quality, and the ability to teach and grow the next generation of utility professionals. We do not want someone who will just point fingers this person is expected to lead by example and work in the field with the crews.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team in the installation and maintenance of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. Provide hands-on guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure team development.
Manage day-to-day operations of underground utility projects, including scheduling, planning, and resource allocation. Coordinate with site superintendents, engineers, and contractors to keep projects on time and within budget.
Ensure adherence to all safety policies and protocols, as well as compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Promote a safety-first culture on the job site.
Oversee the quality of work performed, ensuring that all projects meet or exceed company standards. Conduct inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.
Identify potential issues and find creative solutions to ensure project success. Resolve on-site challenges quickly and efficiently.
Serve as the main point of contact between field crews, site supervisors, project managers, and upper management. Provide regular updates on project progress and work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction.
