Job Summary:
The Underslab Crew Leader will be responsible for installing underground conduits to power islands, floor outlets, etc. as well as installation of electrical encased grounds for TUG installation.

Able to scale and read blueprints for proper installation of underground PVC conduit.

Able to install conduits at proper depth and measurements as the plans dictate.

Must ensure that the PVC conduit is properly secured, so that the conduit does not move while other trades are doing their work.

Must return prepped concrete slabs to their original state (i.e. repairing slab plastic if necessary to remove for underground installation).

Properly installs UFER (concrete encased ground) to NEC applicable codes.

Other related duties as assigned.

Must be accurate with measurements.

Must be willing to get dirty, as most job sites are in early building stages during the UG process.

Must be able to scale and properly read blueprints.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Must have specialty tool use knowledge – Pipe Cutter, Shovel, Reciprocating Saw, Generator

Must have their own standard residential electrical tools.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Must have basic electrical knowledge.

Must have basic construction safety knowledge.

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.

Must be able to have long prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, crouching, grasping and digging.

Must be able to dig w/ shovel to all PVC pipe specifications and cover w/ dirt multiple times a day.

Must be able to use hand/power tools for extended periods of time.

Must be able to work in all outdoor elements – i.e. heat, rain, dirt, etc.
