Job Description


The Uniform Attendant is responsible for issuing, receiving, maintaining, and recording all staff uniforms. This role ensures that all uniforms are clean, well-maintained, and available as per organizational standards and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue and collect uniforms from employees according to established procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of uniforms issued, returned, or replaced.

  • Inspect uniforms for damage or wear and arrange for repair, alteration, or replacement as needed.

  • Coordinate with the laundry department for timely washing, pressing, and delivery of uniforms.

  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of uniforms.

  • Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining inventory reports.

  • Follow hygiene and safety procedures while handling soiled uniforms.

  • Support new employee onboarding by ensuring timely uniform issuance.

  • Report any loss, damage, or shortages to the supervisor immediately.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the uniform room at all times.


Qualifications


Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in uniform/laundry operations (hotel, hospital, airline, or corporate) preferred.

  • Basic computer literacy for record-keeping.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
