Our client, one of Pakistan's leading financial institutions, is looking for an experienced Unit Head – Debit & Credit Card Partnerships & Alliances (AVP / VP) to join their Digital Banking team in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the bank's Debit & Credit Card Partnerships strategy.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with merchants, fintechs, payment service providers, aggregators, and e-commerce platforms.
• Launch and manage cashback, discounts, installment, and loyalty campaigns.
• Collaborate with Digital Banking, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Cards Business teams.
• Identify new partnership opportunities to increase card acquisition, activation, and transaction volumes.
• Manage relationships with payment networks and card schemes.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to introduce innovative card propositions.
• Monitor partnership KPIs including customer acquisition, merchant activation, transaction growth, campaign performance, and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and internal policies.
• Support new card products, co-branded initiatives, and ecosystem expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Telecom, or Fintech.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Debit/Credit Card Partnerships & Alliances.
• Strong knowledge of Digital Banking products and payment ecosystems.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.
