Universal Banker

Job Summary
BANKFIRST is seeking an outgoing, service-oriented professional to fulfill the role of Full-Time Universal Banker at our West Point NE location. Successful candidate will possess good math and communication skills, be accurate, work well under pressure and be well organized. The individual will be responsible for conducting teller transactions, cross-selling bank products and services, have the ability to perform new account duties and be able to identify and refer loan prospects to lenders as well as assist commercial bankers with deposit acquisition

Duties

• Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with precision.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and ensure proper handling of cash and checks.
• Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information about bank products and services.
• Identify opportunities to promote bank products, enhancing customer relationships.
• Participate in ongoing training related to financial services, compliance, and best practices in banking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a banking or financial services environment is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality regarding customer information.
