Universal Banker II

Universal Banker II builds upon Universal I capabilities by performing full-service teller functions, expanded customer service duties, and opening and servicing consumer checking and savings accounts. Universal Banker II conducts account maintenance assists with problem resolution and supports the financial growth of the banking center through service excellence and product knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Experience & Relationship Development

• Provide high-quality service through education, problem resolution, and proactive customer engagement.
• Execute onboarding activities for new consumer banking clients.
• Identify cross-sell or referral opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.

Teller Operations

• Perform all teller functions, including complex or unusual transactions.
• Research and resolve cash discrepancies.
• Provide support or backup to other banking centers as needed.

CSR & Account Servicing

• Perform expanded CSR duties, including handling escalated concerns and educating customers.
• Maintain and update customer account information.

Consumer New Accounts

• Open and process all consumer accounts including checking, savings, CDs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

Digital Banking & Debit Card Support

• Provide Digital Banking Admin support including troubleshooting and access resets.
• Process debit card maintenance, issuance, and problem resolution.
• Investigate and submit debit card disputes through Fintegrate, ensuring documentation and follow-up.

Compliance & Operational Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of policy, regulatory, and procedural changes.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and security.
• Assist with operational tasks and branch opening/closing as needed

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year teller or related banking experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle increased responsibilities
