Job Title: UPDA certified Site Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee construction & fit out projects and ensure that all engineering aspects are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily site operations to ensure timely project execution.
• Experience in studying projects and preparing quotations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports for senior management.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct quality checks to verify that work meets project standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including site reports and project records.
• Assist in material procurement and ensure timely delivery to site.
• Provide technical guidance to workers and sub-contractors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• UPDA certified
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with project management software is a plus.

Work Environment:

• The role requires working on construction sites with exposure to outdoor conditions.
• May require extended hours depending on project deadlines.
• Salary: 6500 QR - 7500 QR
