UPHOLSTER / TAILOR

The Upholsterer/Tailor is responsible for repairing, designing, and maintaining upholstered furniture, curtains, and other fabric materials to ensure quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. This role may also involve tailoring uniforms, linens, and other textiles as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, sew, and fit fabrics for furniture, seats, cushions, draperies, and uniforms.
• Repair or replace upholstery components such as springs, padding, webbing, and fabric.
• Perform fabric maintenance, including cleaning and re-stitching as required.
• Assist in pattern making, fabric selection, and material inventory management.
• Operate sewing machines and other related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that all finished work meets company standards for quality and durability.
• Collaborate with maintenance and housekeeping teams for timely completion of repair requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
