Upholstery Master

We are looking for an experienced Upholstery Master specializing in home and office furniture. The ideal candidate must be skilled in fabric and leather upholstery, furniture repair, and crafting high-quality finishes. This role requires strong attention to detail, precision, and the ability to handle a wide range of upholstery tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform upholstery work for a variety of home and office furniture including sofas, chairs, office seats, partitions, and custom pieces.
• Remove old upholstery, assess repair needs, and prepare furniture frames for new materials.
• Measure, cut, and stitch fabrics, leather, foam, and padding according to project specifications.
• Install springs, webbing, foam, and coverings using appropriate techniques such as stitching, stapling, gluing, and tacking.
• Repair and restore damaged furniture, including frame adjustments and cushion rebuilding.
• Provide fabric and material selection guidance when required.
• Ensure all finished upholstery meets high-quality craftsmanship and durability standards.
• Maintain tools, sewing machines, and workspace in proper condition.
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines.
• Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as an upholsterer for home and office furniture.
• Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read measurements and follow design or repair instructions.
• Skilled in fabric cutting, stitching, foam work, and finishing.
• Ability to work independently with excellent craftsmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
