UPK Lead Teacher- 25/26 School Year

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for students.

-We are flexible on this position being school year only or year round*!

-This position can be a 24 hour/week or 40 hour/week position

*Year round compensation will vary due to funding

Teaching License with one of the following endorsements are REQUIRED**:

• Teacher Endorsement #100 -- Prekindergarten through grade three, including special education; ​
• Teacher Endorsement #103 – Prekindergarten through kindergarten;​
• Teacher Endorsement #106 – Prekindergarten through grade three; and​
• Teacher Endorsement #1001 – Birth through grade three inclusive settings

**Teachers without a teaching license and proper endorsement will not be considered for this position at this time. If you have a teaching license and are actively working towards one of these endorsement, please feel free to apply!

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
- Conduct assessments and maintain student records
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Utilize behavior management techniques effectively
- Engage students in interactive learning activities
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the educational program

Experience
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with Project Based Learning or other progressive teaching methodologies
- Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Experience in classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of GOLD assessments
