Do you enjoy writing great proposals and winning work on Upwork?
We're looking for someone to join our energetic team as a Business Development person. You'll need at least one year of actually working on Upwork.
What you'll be doing:
- Be active on Upwork every day, finding and applying for jobs that fit.
- Figure out what clients need, write proposals just for them, and confidently explain our services.
- Talk to possible clients through Upwork messages, video calls (like Zoom), and emails.
- Make our Upwork profile and any special profiles look their best so more clients see us.
- Work with our team inside the company to get project information and make sure we're telling clients the right things.
- Keep an eye on how we're doing on Upwork, tracking and looking at the numbers.
- Use helpful tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Grammarly, and other Upwork tools to talk to people and keep track of projects easily.
What you'll need:
- New to one year of experience working on Upwork and a history of getting projects.
- Good at writing proposals that win projects on Upwork.
- Really good at writing and speaking English.
- Know how to find potential clients and guide them through the sales process.
- Comfortable using tools for talking to people, keeping track of things, and managing projects.
- Able to handle many conversations at once, follow up with potential clients, and close deals on your own.
Bonus points if:
- You've used other freelance websites like Fiverr or Freelancer.com.
- You know a little bit about software development (like websites, apps, or design).
- You're always looking to learn and grow in business development.
