We are seeking a Business Development Specialist (Upwork/LinkedIn) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, results-driven, and experienced in generating high-quality leads and closing deals through platforms like Upwork and LinkedIn. You should be skilled in strategic outreach, proposal writing, and building long-term client relationships in the IT and digital services industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and generate new business opportunities on Upwork and LinkedIn, focusing on IT, digital services, web development, and marketing projects.
  • Write, customize, and submit high-converting proposals/bids on Upwork to secure projects.
  • Manage and optimize Upwork and LinkedIn profiles for maximum visibility, credibility, and conversion.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through LinkedIn outreach, networking, and follow-ups.
  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools for targeted lead generation and prospecting.
  • Apply advanced bid strategies on Upwork (pricing strategy, niche targeting, client pain-point pitching).
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (designers, developers, marketers) to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute client acquisition strategies to consistently achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Track, analyze, and report business development performance, lead conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in IT, digital services, or e-commerce.
  • Strong hands-on experience in generating leads and closing deals on Upwork and LinkedIn.
  • Expert-level proposal writing and bid strategy skills (Upwork & other freelance platforms).
  • Solid understanding of profile optimization, keyword research, and SEO-based positioning for Upwork and LinkedIn.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, outreach automation tools, and CRM systems.
  • Deep knowledge of LinkedIn advertising, targeting strategies, and paid campaigns (optional but preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet targets, and handle multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel, conversion optimization, and closing techniques.
  • Passion for learning, adapting to market trends, and improving sales performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
