Kifayat Publishers is looking for a dedicated and skilled Urdu Editor to join our team.

About Kifayat:

Established in 1961, Kifayat Publishers has been serving the publishing industry of Pakistan for six decades. Our mission is to provide quality education, at affordable prices. We want to change the way students see their books, with an aim of ‘less is more, but less should not become bore’. We focus on the core concepts from the National Curriculum and cover topics in an informative, yet gripping manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Editing, proofreading, and reviewing Urdu manuscripts, textbooks, and other content.

2. Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in language and style.

3. Coordinating with authors, writers, and designers for content improvements.

4. Maintaining quality standards as per company guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Urdu, Journalism, Literature, or Education related field.

2. Strong command of Urdu grammar, spelling, and composition.

3. Prior experience in editing/publishing will be preferred.

4. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

5. Familiarity with digital Urdu typing tools. (InPage / Ms Word Urdu)
