Urdu Teacher Higher Secondary Section

Job Purpose:
To deliver effective teaching of Urdu language and literature at the higher secondary level, fostering critical thinking, creative expression, and strong academic performance in line with curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Urdu language and literature to higher secondary students as per the prescribed syllabus.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with academic objectives and examination requirements.
• Explain classical and modern Urdu literature, grammar, poetry, and prose clearly and effectively.
• Encourage students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in Urdu.
• Assess, evaluate, and grade students’ work through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments.
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student performance reports.
• Use appropriate teaching methodologies, including discussions, presentations, and multimedia tools.
• Support students’ academic growth through guidance, feedback, and remedial teaching when required.
• Participate in academic meetings, trainings, and school activities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Urdu or a related field (as per institutional requirements).
• Prior teaching experience at higher secondary level preferred.
• Strong command of Urdu language (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with board examination patterns and assessment criteria.
