Job Overview:

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care 8 years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Temecula, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
• Part-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
• Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute

Minimum Requirements | Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
• Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• DEA Certificate
