Urgent Care Telehealth Provider

This is a 100% remote telehealth position supporting our urgent care clinics and requires an active California license.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time telehealth evaluations for walk-in urgent care patients
• Assess and document patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications
• Provide medical decision-making, treatment plans, and patient education appropriate for urgent care visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, and rapid tests) as medically indicated
• Review test results and communicate findings and next steps to patients in a timely manner
• Determine appropriate escalation of care, including referrals to in-person urgent care, emergency departments, or specialty providers when necessary
• Deliver efficient, compassionate care while maintaining high patient satisfaction in a high-volume environment
• Accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record in compliance with urgent care and telehealth standards
• Participate in chart audits and support best practices for documentation and quality assurance
• Collaborate with clinic staff to support smooth day-to-day operations of the urgent care workflow
  
  
  

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of California
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Experience with telehealth and/or urgent care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Fluency in Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population
