Deccan PU College is looking for an experienced and dedicated Accountancy Faculty with 3–5 years of teaching experience to deliver strong conceptual teaching, improve students’ problem-solving skills, and support excellent academic results.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Accountancy for PU students as per the prescribed syllabus and academic calendar
• Explain concepts clearly and train students in problem-solving and numerical accuracy
• Cover key topics such as:
• Journal, Ledger, Trial Balance
• Final Accounts, Rectification of Errors
• Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS)
• Depreciation, Bills of Exchange
• Partnership Accounts, Company Accounts (as per syllabus)
• Conduct regular tests, assignments, and revision sessions
• Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations
• Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain attendance, academic records, and student performance reports
• Mentor students for academic improvement and exam readiness
• Participate in department meetings, academic planning, and college activities
• Maintain discipline and ensure a positive classroom environment

Required Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) (preferred)
• B.Ed is an added advantage
• 3–5 years of teaching experience at PU/College level
• Strong subject knowledge, communication, and classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate students and improve academic performance
