Urgent Hiring For Experienced Freight Broker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Freight Broker to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will have an established book of business, strong carrier relationships, and a proven track record of generating revenue in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers
• Source and secure freight for available trucks
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and customers
• Manage shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring on-time performance
• Resolve load issues, service failures, and billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records in TMS and internal systems

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and market trends
• Proficiency in load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and TMS systems
• Meet or exceed monthly revenue and margin targets
