<Responsibilities>

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklift-equipped trucks on route driving assignments.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries in accordance with federal regulations.
• Deliver freight promptly across designated routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while managing route schedules efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any vehicle issues.
• Follow all safety procedures related to driving manual transmission trucks and handling specialized cargo such as refrigerated goods or tanker loads.

<Experience>

• Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or dump trucks.
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
• Delivery driver experience with a focus on freight handling and route driving across long distances.
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures for various types of freight including roll-off containers or forklift-assisted cargo.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Prior experience working with refrigerated trailers or specialized equipment is a plus.
