URGENTLY HIRING: Stretcher & Wheelchair Transportation Drivers -Non-Emergency Medical Transporters

HIRING MULTIPLE CANDIDATES: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available in a Stable Work Environment

Transportation on Demand offers wheelchair, ambulatory, and stretcher transportation services. We are expanding our fleet and seeking qualified drivers immediately to join our team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Transport clients to and from medical appointments, dialysis, adult daycare, mental health facilities, and more.
• Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation.

• Ability to work independently and proactively

• Professional, positive attitude
• Detail-oriented and responsible
• Customer-focused with a sense of urgency
• Punctuality is a must – no exceptions
• Flexible daytime availability to meet business needs
• Own a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and proficient in its use
• Minimum age: 25 years
• Clean 10-year motor vehicle record with no major or multiple traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Pass criminal background check (no felonies in the last 10 years, no misdemeanors in the last 5 years)
• Pass drug screening and DOT physical
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Court record: a plus 3 or above driving record (exceptions possible)
• Certifications: CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, Pass Basic, Hands-On Training, HIPAA (certification provided upon hire)

Preferred but not required:

• Related driving experience (especially in non-emergency medical transport)
• Retirees are encouraged to apply

Additional Information:

• Location: Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Laurens, Richland, Lexington and surrounding areas, SC
• Pay: $14.00 - $15.00/hour for experienced stretcher, wheelchair, and ambulatory drivers
• Benefits: Flexible schedule, health insurance, 401(k), paid training
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, plus two Saturdays per month
