Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM + On-call rotation

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care to veterans at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Responsibilities

• Provide full scope of Urology clinical and surgical services including consultations, diagnostics, cystoscopies, vasectomies, and operative procedures.
• Manage urological emergencies and provide timely specialty care.
• Participate in on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends, and holidays as assigned).
• Perform patient follow-up, treatment planning, and test result communication per VA standards.
• Complete documentation in VA Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement programs.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (American Board of Urology)
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must pass VA credentialing and privileging process
• DEA certification required
• Strong communication and clinical skills

Schedule

• Full-time clinical hours: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• On-call requirements:
• Weeknights: 4:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends: Average 1 weekend per month
• Holiday coverage as assigned
