The Opportunity


  • We are seeking a Full-Time, On-Site Accounts Payable Analyst to support the financial operations of our US business.
  • Reporting directly to our UK-based Finance Manager and COO/CLO, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, strong internal controls, and disciplined vendor management as we continue to scale.
  • As the key Accounts Payable contact within our US operation, this position offers genuine development potential as the business grows.
  • Core Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable & Financial Control
  • Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and contracts.
  • Implement and enforce a robust three-way matching process.
  • Prepare and support payment runs in line with agreed payment terms.
  • Maintain accurate coding and financial records within our accounting system.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Vendor & Internal Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary US point of contact for vendor payment queries.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies including pricing issues, missing documentation and purchase order mismatches.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure purchasing procedures are followed correctly.
  • Maintain strong and professional vendor relationships.
  • Reconciliation, Reporting & Audit Support
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to vendor statements.
  • Prepare accounts payable reports as required.
  • Perform regular transaction reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure accurate inputs for stock-taking and inventory reconciliation.

Essential


  • Previous accounts payable experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes.
  • Strong problem-solving capability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Desirable


  • Experience using Xero.
  • Experience working in a growth-stage or international business.
  • Exposure to inventory-based or manufacturing environments.
