U.S. Communications Intern
Role Overview
The Communications Intern will support Ferrovial’s U.S. Communications team across a wide range of projects that strengthen our brand, enhance internal engagement and elevate our external presence. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail‑oriented individual who is eager to gain hands‑on experience in driving integrated communications strategies.
This role is hybrid in Ferrovial's Austin, TX headquarter office. The anticipated duration of the internship is 6 months, with potential to extend depending on business need.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and distribution of communications materials, including internal announcements, press releases, website and social media content
Monitor daily news coverage relevant to the company, industry and competitors, and compile and format media monitoring summaries
Assist with brand and marketing initiatives, including research, content development and asset coordination
Support planning and execution of events, such as conferences, speaking engagements and town halls
Provide general administrative and project support to the team as needed
Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and research skills
Ability to synthesize information clearly and concisely
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Familiarity with media monitoring tools, social media platforms, and basic design tools is a plus
