Job description

We are seeking an experienced US Payroll Specialist with 2+ years of Experience to join our HR Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for US employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery within the defined SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle complete US Payroll processing, including pre-payroll, processing, reconciliation, and post-payroll activities.
  • Ensure compliance with US tax laws, wage regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal HR, Finance, and external vendors for payroll-related issues.
  • Validate payroll inputs, deductions, and adjustments with utmost accuracy.
  • Resolve employee queries and manage escalations related to payroll.
  • Generate payroll reports and ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Mandatory: Hands-on experience in US Payroll Processing.
  • Strong understanding of HCM tools such as Workday, SAP HCM / Payroll, Oracle HCM / Payroll, or Kronos.
  • Good knowledge of US Payroll compliance, taxation, and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a night-shift environment.
