US Tax Specialist – Full-Time (On-Site, Karachi)

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Busy Associates, a division of Bilal Arsalan & Co., is expanding its international tax practice and seeks an experienced US Tax Specialist to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work with US-based CPA firms and a diverse international client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review US Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040) and Business Tax Returns (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065).
• Prepare related schedules/forms: Schedule C, K-1, 5471, 8938, FBAR (FinCEN 114), etc.
• Coordinate with US-based CPAs for documentation and review queries.
• Research IRS regulations and tax positions as required.
• Work on US tax software: Drake, TaxWise, Lacerte, UltraTax (experience with any one is acceptable).
• Maintain compliance timelines and ensure timely filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting / Finance, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAP, or CPA track.
• 1–3 years of hands-on US tax preparation experience.
• Strong knowledge of IRS regulations, deductions, credits, and filing requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with international clients.
• Proficiency in Excel and cloud-based tax tools.
• Preferred Qualifications
• PTIN holder (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Experience with US tax season workload.
• Familiarity with US bookkeeping tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online) is a plus.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
