Role summary:
As the Manager, Supply Planning, you will lead the development and execution of supply strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability across the network. This role requires strong analytical skills and strategic decision-making to balance demand and supply effectively while managing supplier performance and financial objectives. You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, leveraging digital tools to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be critical in supporting Walmart’s commitment to delivering exceptional service through reliable supply chain management.
About the team:
The team focuses on fostering collaborative partnerships with cross-functional groups and key suppliers to enhance category in-stock levels, on-time in-full (OTIF) performance, and overall Member Experience. By leveraging expertise in data analysis, supply chain management, and supplier performance management, the team drives strategic decision-making and financial management to optimize supply planning processes. Digital literacy supports efficient communication and operational excellence. This team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations that meet business objectives and deliver value to Members consistently.
What you'll do:

• Develop and execute supply planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and meet demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply plans with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage financial aspects of supply planning, including budgeting and cost control.
• Lead strategic decision-making processes to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
• Utilize digital tools to support accurate forecasting and supply chain visibility.

• Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on supply planning and inventory optimization.
• Strong data analysis skills to interpret complex datasets and drive informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial management to oversee budgeting and cost control within supply planning functions.
• Demonstrated ability in supplier performance management to ensure reliable and efficient supply chain operations.
• Strategic decision-making capabilities to align supply plans with business objectives and market demands.
• Advanced digital literacy, including familiarity with supply planning software and tools to enhance operational efficiency.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
