(USA) Staff, Technical Program Manager

We are seeking a Staff Project Manager to drive planning, scheduling, and execution of complex data engineering and visualization initiatives across our organization; navigating stakeholder needs between Engineering, Analytics, Product, Business, and Operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure smooth and efficient delivery of projects that meet quality standards and business timelines while minimizing execution risk. A key part of this role will be ensuring communication around deliverables, dates, dependencies, and risks is clear with stakeholders outside of the immediate Engineering org, as well as putting together plans, driving alignment, and securing approvals. This person would be a driver in creating foundational project management processes and structure that align with business needs as well as internal Engineering organization needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project schedules and activities with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Client Engineering, Product Management, Analytics, Business, and Operations.
  • Drive feature prioritization through collaboration with stakeholders based on capacity, impact, LOE, dependencies, and business needs.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect project scope, schedule, quality, and delivery commitments.
  • Communicate project details, status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders as required.
  • Conduct project readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and dependency reviews.
  • Continuously improve project delivery processes by implementing best practices, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, project plans, status reports, dashboards, and decision logs.
  • Develop and maintain project management processes and procedures to ensure streamlined planning, execution, and delivery activities.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience managing technical dependencies, delivery risks, and stakeholder alignment for data engineering or analytics initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in software development or data engineering initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building strong relationships across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience working with data engineering, database management, or visualization teams, including familiarity with data warehouses such as Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Experience with Jira using JQL, JARs and setting up dashboards

The annual salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - $242,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
