The Used Car Manager is responsible for managing the certified pre-owned and used vehicle program, overseeing inventory sourcing, pricing, and sales to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. This role leads the used car sales team, ensures vehicles meet certification requirements, coordinates with sales and service departments, and focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
Roles and Responsibilities

Manage sourcing, pricing, and inventory of certified pre-owned and used vehicles.

Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to meet sales targets.

Coordinate with new car sales, service, and marketing teams for seamless operations.

Oversee vehicle preparation and presentation to maintain premium brand image.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize used car sales and profitability.

Manage customer relationships to deliver excellent sales and aftersales service.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust pricing and stock accordingly.

Candidate Specification

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Automotive Management, Marketing, or a related field.

7–10 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3–5 years in used car operations or management.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

In-depth knowledge of the used car market, pricing strategies, and inventory management.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with dealers and stakeholders.
