User Experience Designer IV (Contingent)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon.


Job Summary:

This position offers the opportunity to shape the visual and physical presentation of globally recognized branded device packaging across international markets. Working at the intersection of creative development and program management, you will orchestrate the end-to-end process of bringing localized packaging and publications to life. Your expertise will ensure that every package delivered to customers worldwide meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency. This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance creative vision with operational excellence while navigating the complexities of global collaboration and tight timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Intake program requirements, define scope, and create detailed workback schedules
  • Create and manage regional program schedules
  • Plan and manage creative development of international packaging and in-box publication design initiatives
  • Lead creative development with regional teams, third-party vendors, and suppliers
  • Ensure accuracy in localized design direction, production, content (text and assets), and artwork execution
  • Drive artwork approvals with global stakeholders through Release to Print
  • Communicate schedules, next steps, and deliverables to all parties
  • Send final files to packaging vendors per standardized SOPs
  • Problem-solve unexpected results and maintain quality standards

Skills:

  • Strong program management skills with demonstrated experience in creative packaging programs
  • Experience working within creative development systems, program management systems, and/or proofing systems
  • Proven ability to manage workload and prioritize across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and programs simultaneously
  • Proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-mix environments and working through ambiguity

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of program management experience in global packaging, publications development, manufacturing, or related discipline

Additional Details:

  • Location: San Francisco, CA

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Pay Range*: 75-80$

  • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours

  • Job Status: Non-Exempt
