About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled, edgy, trendy, up-to-date, and highly creative UI Designer with a proven passion for motion design and micro-animation. This role is critical to our mission of creating intuitive, dynamic, and visually stunning digital products that captivate our users. The ideal candidate will be an expert at transforming static designs into living, breathing user experiences by applying a systematic, component-based design approach. You will collaborate closely with our UX, product, and engineering teams to define and implement elegant and engaging interactions across all our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design System & Components

• Design and build modular, scalable UI components by following the atomic design system , creating a reusable library. that can be used consistently across our product suite.

• Ensure all designs adhere to a component-based philosophy, promoting efficiency, consistency, and a seamless developer handoff.

Motion & Micro-Animation:

• Creating motion graphics and micro-animations that enhance user engagement and provide clear feedback on interactions.

• Use motion to guide the user's eye, communicate state changes, and create a sense of delight and polish in our products.

• Work with developers to ensure the technical feasibility and successful implementation of all animations.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers in an Agile environment to refine concepts and deliver a cohesive user experience.

• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and senior management, effectively articulating design rationale, particularly how a component-based approach supports long-term product strategy.

User-Centric Approach:

• Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to iterate and improve designs.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and cultural nuances of the UAE market , including Right-to-Left (RTL) language considerations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in motion design, micro-animation, and design systems .

• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Demonstrable expertise in motion design tools like Adobe After Effects, Principle, or Lottie.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture , and visual design fundamentals.

• Deep knowledge of atomic design principles and experience building and maintaining a

Component-based design system .

• Knowledge of front-end development technologies ( HTML, CSS, JavaScript ) to communicate effectively with developers.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
