Role Overview
The
UI/UX Designer
will be responsible for researching user needs, conceptualizing design ideas, creating prototypes, and collaborating closely with developers and business users to bring elegant, efficient, and visually appealing digital products to life.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Problem Definition

Conduct in-depth user and stakeholder research to understand objectives, workflows, and pain points.

Analyze existing systems and define clear problem statements and user personas.

Translate findings into actionable design insights and opportunities.
Ideation & Design
-
Brainstorm multiple design concepts and define logical information structures and workflows.

Create
wireframes, storyboards, prototypes
, and
user flows
that communicate design ideas effectively.

Build interactive prototypes and refine them based on feedback and usability testing.
Visual & Interaction Design
-
Design visually appealing and functional interfaces for
web and mobile applications

Apply
color theory, typography, spacing, and composition
principles to achieve aesthetic and functional balance.

Ensure design consistency through reusable components, style guides, and design systems.

Deliver
pixel-perfect layouts
optimized for responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaboration & Execution

Work closely with developers for smooth design-to-development handoff.

Collaborate with business users, product managers, and QA teams to ensure the final output meets design intent.

Participate actively in
SDLC phases
to align design deliverables with project timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications

3–6 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer for web or mobile products.

Proficiency in tools such as
Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator
, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of
user-centered design principles
,
interaction design
, and
design thinking
.

Good understanding of
HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
, and responsive design frameworks.
-
Knowledge of
cross-browser compatibility
and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
-
Excellent
communication skills
— able to articulate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong
visualization, ideation, and storytelling
abilities.

Keen
eye for detail
and consistency across layouts and components.

Awareness of
AI-powered design tools
(e.g., Replit, ChatGPT, Galileo AI, Uizard, Midjourney) is an added advantage.

Understanding of the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
and agile workflows.
Good-to-Have Skills
