The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Utility Services Financial Manager in the Department of Utility Services. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under broad direction, manages, plans, coordinates, and directs staff and financial activities monitoring the financial sustainability of Utility operations and ensuring appropriate financial projections, controls, and fiscal integrity within the Utility Enterprise funds; and performs related duties as assigned.

Competitive Salary Range of $97,084.44 - $148,032.18 annually; salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity*

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field
-
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience performing complex financial, administrative, managerial, statistical, and budgetary analyses, which includes five (5) years in a management / supervisory role and two (2) years overseeing a capital enterprise fund

Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered

Desirable: Prior experience in the public sector overseeing a governmental utility enterprise fund

Desirable: Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA); OR Certified Public Finance Administrator (CPFA), OR as a Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO)
