Utility Sales Representative

Packer Fastener is expanding, and we’re looking for a driven Utility Sales Team Member to help launch and build our newest location in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Position Details

• Full-time, First Shift.
• Monday-Friday schedule (your evenings and weekends are yours!)
• Blend of inside sales, outside sales, contractor sales, and vendor-managed inventory
• Opportunity to help build and establish a brand-new location

What You’ll Need

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Eligibility for coverage under our company’s auto insurance (per Driver Safety Policy)
• Ability to pass DOT Physical/obtain Fed Med card to be able to drive the flatbed.
• Ability to routinely lift and handle up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• 1(+) year(s) sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of product line and pricing
• Ability to prospect, follow up, and close opportunities
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Solid reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Well-organized team player who collaborates effectively across departments
• Proficiency in MS Office and database/CRM systems
