Utility/Houseperson

Daytime flexibility and some weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Picking up and removing trash from the parking lot, garden areas, and surrounding property
• Setting up meeting rooms according to guests’ needs
• Reporting maintenance problems or completing work repair orders
• Spot cleaning walls, carpets, light fixtures, etc.
• Delivering special request items to hotel guests (e.g. mail, hair dryers, etc.)
• Assisting the house person when needed
• Stocking room attendant carts with supplies
• Replenishing store room supplies
• Removing trash and dirty linens from room attendant carts
• Cleaning furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in public areas and corridors
• Sweeping and vacuuming floors, hallways, and stairwells as needed
• Listening and responding to guests’ requests or complaints
• Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenities
• Providing information to guests about local attractions and services
• Has a working knowledge of and ability to perform shuttle/van driving duties as needed
