UX Designer

Serves as the subject matter expert and champion of user-centered design to improve the user experience of all SSFCU’s digital properties (ssfcu.org, account origination, online and mobile banking, marketing microsites, etc.).
Provides architectural deliverables, such as user task/journey flows, wireframes, comps, prototypes, publishable interfaces, etc.
Drives UX-related business requirements in collaboration with business analysts, content strategists and digital analysts. Presents design proposals to pertinent lines of business.
Plans and conducts usability tests and contextual inquiries with users/ members. Provides guidance and solution options based on user feedback.
Informs the departmental management’s vision and decision-making towards the ongoing, continuous evolution of our digital properties to achieve set corporate objectives. Captures and translates the management’s vision into concrete UX deliverables.
Maintains the design system and UX/UI standards in close collaboration with the other UX/UI designers.
Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in visual design, fine arts, graphic arts, web or mobile Design, computer applications, communications, psychology and/or equivalent experience.
Three (3) or more years of general UI and UX design, with at least 1 year of experience designing mobile apps.
All candidates must have an online portfolio reflecting past designs to be considered for this position.
