Brady Corporation is looking for an UX Designer. As an UX Designer, you will create clear, accessible, and data-informed user experiences for our global e-commerce and software platforms. This involves collaborating cross-functionally to design and refine consistent, scalable, and usable pages, patterns, and components. You will translate strategies into user-friendly, CMS-based content (articles, case studies, guides, comparisons, data tables) that communicates complex information. Bridging production and delivery, you will translate data and research into feature designs, contribute to the Global Style guide, and participate in testing and iteration to improve the customer's online experience.
Requirements:
- Apply UX best practices and design fundamentals, including information hierarchy, interaction design, accessibility, responsive layouts, and component reusability to ensure consistency and scalability across global experiences.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of Sticky™, Brady's global design system—documenting components, updating Figma libraries, and ensuring accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) standards.
- Support Figma prototype production, annotation, and developer handoff to ensure designs are accurately implemented across devices and browsers.
- Assist in content and component creation, QA and maintenance during Sitecore XM and Adobe Magento 2 platform migrations.
- Participate in design reviews, taking feedback from senior designers and translating it into actionable improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content designers, merchandisers, and developers to maintain cohesive, user-centered interfaces.
- Observe and assist with usability testing, analytics reviews (Quantum Metric), and user feedback loops to understand how UX decisions impact performance.
- Responsibly and effectively advocate for the customer, fostering a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, content, business, and marketing values.
- Maintain the communication and information hierarchy along the top of the funnel, e-commerce, search and browse path to navigate and filter customers to their desired location with ease.
