UXUI Designer

Responsibilities:


The UX/UI Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences across ecommerce websites and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and business objectives to deliver interfaces that enhance conversion rates, reduce friction, and improve the overall customer journey. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective digital solutions that align with brand standards and user expectations.


Essential Functions:


  • Designs wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile experiences: Creates visual representations of user interfaces that guide development and ensure alignment with user needs and business goals. Utilizes design tools to produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI assets for responsive web and mobile platforms.
  • Conducts user research, usability testing, and analyzes feedback to inform design decisions: Gathers qualitative and quantitative insights through user interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Applies findings to refine design solutions, enhance usability, and ensure the final product meets user expectations.
  • Collaborates with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver seamless experiences: Works cross-functionally to align design efforts with product strategy, technical feasibility, and brand messaging. Ensures consistent communication and integration throughout the design and development lifecycle.
  • Defines and maintains design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards: Establishes and evolves design systems to promote consistency and scalability across digital products. Upholds accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive experiences for all users.
  • Continuously optimizes user flows to improve engagement, conversion, and retention: Analyzes user behavior and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Iterates on design solutions to streamline navigation, reduce drop-off points, and enhance overall user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably in ecommerce or consumer-facing digital products


Experience:

  • Proven track record of designing UX/UI for ecommerce or consumer-facing digital products

  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions

  • Collaborative experience working with cross-functional teams including product, development, and marketing

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems and style guides

  • Demonstrated ability to optimize user flows for improved engagement, conversion, and retention


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record of designing UX/UI for ecommerce or consumer-facing digital products

  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions

  • Collaborative experience working with cross-functional teams including product, development, and marketing

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems and style guides

  • Demonstrated ability to optimize user flows for improved engagement, conversion, and retention


Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: No travel


Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.


This position is classified as “in-person,” which means the physical office in Orlando.
