UX/UI Designer — Karachi

About the Role

CodeLabs is seeking a UI/UX Designer to help craft intuitive, beautiful digital experiences that elevate how users interact with our software. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to gather user requirements, design interface components, and build smooth navigation flows. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of hands-on experience with design software and wireframing tools, along with a solid portfolio featuring web and mobile projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and interactive search components
• Develop UI mockups and functional prototypes that clearly communicate design intent
• Create original graphic designs (e.g., icons, images, sketches, and tables)
• Present drafts and design ideas to internal teams and stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., responsiveness, accessibility)
• Adjust layouts and flows based on user feedback and usability tests
• Maintain brand consistency and adhere to style standards for fonts, colors, and images

Requirements

• 3–4 years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects for both web and mobile platforms
• Proficiency in wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, InVision, Adobe XD, or similar)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Sketch
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
