Vacation Home Quality Assurance/Guest Readiness Inspector

We are a Nashville based hospitality company that manages 85+ short term rentals (Airbnbs/Vrbos) in Nashville & Franklin.

We are looking for a responsible and reliable person to join the team as a Quality Assurance/Guest Readiness Inspector. The primary function of this role is, before each guest checks in, to ensure the property has been properly cleaned by the cleaning staff, check inventory stock levels, make sure that key elements of the property are functioning properly (Wifi, TV's, HVAC, hot water, etc.)

Candidates Requirements:

  • Follows direction very well.
  • Positive attitude, work well within a team, and communicate effectively.
  • Have a general knowledge of how key elements of properties function, know how troubleshoot basic household/tech items such as TV’s, routers, thermostats.
  • Be resourceful and have basic handy skills (how to use a power drill, be able to climb a ladder to change a light bulb)
  • Have the ability to be a good problem solver without much direction.
  • Be TECH SAVVY and have your own smartphone and/laptop or tablet.
  • Have your own car. (Will need to track mileage for reimbursement)
  • Have a sense of urgency when/if property issues arise.
  • Have a high standard for cleanliness. No, you won’t be cleaning, but you will be inspecting the cleaner's work. You MUST be able to see/catch things that are missed before guests arrive.
  • Background check required.

Job Requirements:

  • Inspecting properties prior to guest arrival to ensure cleanliness and proper function of key amenities.
  • Checking & troubleshooting utilities to make sure all are functioning correctly - ie. HVAC/WIFI/TV/LOCKS etc.
  • Noting house issues and either fixing on site ( light bulb change etc. ) or reporting/coordinating/scheduling w/Maintenance team. USING AN APP!
  • Ordering & delivering stock/inventory from storage unit to properties.
  • Managing calendars.
  • Drive within the greater Nashville and Franklin areas.
  • Be able to lift 40 lbs.

Weekly Schedule

  • 3-4 days a week
  • Must be available to work on weekends and some holidays.
  • 15-20 hours per week to start. During peek months could be more.
