Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum trucks equipped with tanks, pumps, and hoses to load and unload waste materials in compliance with all safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking manual transmission systems, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
• Drive commercial vehicles across designated routes, ensuring timely delivery and pickup while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
• Load and unload using appropriate equipment ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet schedule demands while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and clients.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance needs, and service logs for compliance purposes.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven truck driving experience in roles such as delivery driver or industrial service technician.
• Familiarity with operating specialized equipment including tanker trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or tractor-trailers.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices along with the ability to navigate efficiently across various terrains.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling and waste management regulations.
