JOB PURPOSE:
Value & Reporting head owns the the financials of the PMO. The financials are two-fold; the CAPEX budget for projects and the PMO budget. Value & Reporting Lead responsible for streamlining demand prioritization process and ensuring correct business cases are present. The Value & Reporting Head is also responsible to ensure value and RoI is identified, tracked, and realized across portfolios and raise escalation wherever there is a exception. Regarding the PMO budget, the Value & Reporting lead will assist resolution of any in the escalation/ deviation cases in spend and consolidation. The Lead will work closely with the Central PMO Head to report the value realization and financials to senior management committees.
Qualifications & Experience
- Mandatory: University Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Preferred: MBA or equivalent degree
- Total Finance experience of 15+ years
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management of large programs and projects (Technology or Banking projects is a plus)
- Experience in managing the team size of 7-10 people
Skills
- Expertise in financial management, budgets
- Experience in being part of a value realization office is a plus
- Experience of working with cross functional team
- Excellent stakeholder management capability and worked with senior management
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; PowerPoint, Excel, etc
- Strong experience with data handling and analysis tools such as Power BI
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and deliver within tight deadlines
- Willing to learn, collaborate, go the extra mile, and demonstrate high level of integrity with ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately
- Supervises, coaches, and develops junior team members
