Valve Supervisor – Nuclear Refueling Outage
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise valve maintenance teams during outage execution
- Coordinate dismantling, inspection, refurbishment and reassembly activities
- Ensure compliance with outage schedules and QA/QC requirements
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance planning
- Ensure strict HSE and nuclear safety compliance
- Coordinate work allocation and team productivity
- Interface with outage management and client representatives
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of valve maintenance experience
- Previous outage/shutdown experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Experience with MOV, AOV, manual and check valves
- Strong English communication skills
- Power plant or nuclear experience preferred
Strongly Preferred
- Previous Barakah outage experience
- APR1400 reactor experience
- GCC power generation or nuclear experience
- Experience with Limitorque, Velan, Edward valves or equivalent systems
Internal Sourcing Constraints
- Prioritize candidates with previous Barakah outage experience
- Prioritize candidates already cleared for Barakah site
- Avoid sourcing candidates from nationalities historically facing Barakah clearance restrictions
- Preferred sourcing regions: India, South Africa, Philippines and GCC-based expatriates
