Valve Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Valve Technician to perform maintenance, repair, testing, and calibration of industrial valves used in oil & gas and water treatment applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with various types of valves and knowledge of safety and quality standards relevant to the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, dismantling, repair, assembly, and testing of different valve types (ball, gate, globe, control, safety, and butterfly valves).
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic testing as per client and international standards.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot control valves and actuators.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with DEWA and industry specifications.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Support site activities, including valve installation and commissioning when required.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Valve Technician in oil & gas or water treatment industries.
• Knowledge of valve testing procedures, tools, and calibration instruments.
• Familiarity with DEWA standards and documentation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
