Vascular Neurologist

Maximus Federal is seeking a Vascular Neurologist to join the Medical Consultant panel to be an Expert Medical Reviewer to conduct medical judgment appeals.

Peer Review for Quality Management may only be used to improve the quality of healthcare or utilization of healthcare resources in VA medical facilities. Its primary focus is whether the clinical decisions and actions of a clinician during a specific clinical encounter met the standard of care.

Key Requirements:

• Board-certified: Vascular Neurology & Neurology for more than 5 years.
• Direct Patient Care: Must be actively engaged in providing direct patient care for more than 20 hours a month
• Experience: Vascular Neurology for more than 5 years.
• Work Arrangement: This is a 1099 (at-will) role for both parties.
