VAT MANAGER

We’re Hiring: Manager – VAT (UAE VAT Experience Mandatory)

A leading accounting and auditing firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – VAT to join our growing tax advisory team. This role is ideal for a VAT professional with strong UAE VAT expertise who is passionate about compliance, advisory, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end VAT compliance for multiple clients, including:
• VAT registration and deregistration
• Return preparation and filing
• Reconciliations and periodic reporting
• Provide strategic VAT advisory on transactions, contracts, and business restructuring.
• Conduct VAT health checks, internal audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure strict adherence to UAE VAT laws and regulations issued by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
• Liaise with tax authorities on VAT clarifications, audits, and assessments.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior VAT team members.
• Stay updated with changes in VAT legislation, UAE Corporate Tax developments, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA) preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a VAT Manager with mandatory UAE VAT experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT law, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet strict deadlines
