Role: Vehicle Crash Analyst

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have:
Good knowledge in basics of FEA, meshing, setting up the deck, execution, and post-processing results.
Expertise in automotive system analysis and regulatory requirements for crash and safety systems; must deliver full vehicle crash analysis for FMVSS and ECU regulations.
Passenger Air Bag, Roof Rail Airbag (RRAB), Cold Deployment loads (on A pillar, B pillar, C pillar, D pillar, Headliner, Ramps, Interior Lamps).
Crash and safety support throughout the development process until production tool kick-off, during pre-production and production launch vehicle builds.
Must be able to tie CAE co-relation with quick modification of FE models to evaluate possible countermeasures in the design direction.
Should be well-versed in pre-/post-processing and simulation using CAE software like ANSA, Hypermesh, LS-Dyna, LS-Opt, Oasys Primer, and Radioss.
Good knowledge of understanding test setup/results, correlating test results with CAE.
Proficiency in Python would be an added advantage.
Should have knowledge of Agile and JIRA.
Good-to-Have:
Knowledge of overall Automotive CAE development.
