Vehicle Inspection & Safety Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Testing & Operations

• Operate and monitor autonomous (driverless) vehicles during test drives.
• Take manual control of the vehicle when required to ensure safety.
• Execute predefined test routes and scenarios as per testing protocols.
• Perform pre-drive and post-drive vehicle safety checks.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all testing activities comply with safety regulations and company protocols.
• Remain alert at all times and respond quickly to system alerts or unexpected situations.
• Report safety incidents, anomalies, or system failures immediately.

Data Collection & Reporting

• Record test results, observations, and system behavior during drives.
• Provide detailed feedback on vehicle performance, software behavior, and road interactions.
• Support engineers with qualitative insights for system improvement.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with engineering, R&D, and safety teams during testing.
• Assist in validating software updates and hardware changes.
• Support training, calibration, and demonstration drives when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred).

Experience

• Prior experience as a professional driver, test driver, or safety operator preferred.
• Experience in automotive testing, logistics, or fleet operations is an advantage.

Licensing

• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (mandatory).
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

Skills

• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments.
• Basic understanding of vehicle systems and automotive technology.
• Comfortable using tablets, dashboards, and data logging tools.
