Purpose Of the Role & Responsibilities

• To design future products in line with Ford Otosan's vision of being the most valuable and preferred industrial company, and to conduct manufacturing engineering activities.
• To design process designs in accordance with Ford systems and to commission intelligent and highly automated process equipment and products.

Main Reponsibilities

• Will expertise in assembly processes and technologies,
• To prepare/arrange and follow up project schedules, (to be familiar with the timing system implemented by the Launch team),
• To conduct feasibility studies and provide direction to product design work, taking into account Ford production standards, factory facility constraints, and quality metrics,
• To create investment budgets and prepare projects for management approval,
• Guided by the information from the vehicle design process, directs the equipment design by working in coordination with the facility design team,
• Establishment of process flows, process descriptions, and production systems according to new technologies,
• Following up on the commissioning work of the vehicle at relevant workshops after the design,
• Establishing positive business relationships by coordinating with other manufacturing departments and project coordination,
• Tracking projects according to GPDS and LQOS standards in the process of implementing new models.

Education

• Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering.

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Knowledgeable in torque systems, riveting, bonding, and composite material joining systems (Advanced Assembly joining technologies),
• Knowledgeable in high voltage systems for electric vehicles, Level 1 (High Voltage Level 1),
• Proficient in problem-solving methodologies such as 6-sigma and TRIZ,
• Knowledgeable in global project management and quality standards such as GPDS and LQOS, and familiar with manufacturing engineering metrics and scorecards,
• Proficient in DPA, WERS, E2KS, and Aims systems
• Experienced in SCAF, PFMEA, and Control Plan systems for assembly processes
• Knowledgeable in dimensional analysis for assembly parts and body
• Proficient in general equipment and equipment specifications for assembly workshops,
• Familiar with FPS and Lean Production techniques
• Fundemental knowladge in Equipment Control and safety
• Basic knowledge of machine control and safety. Proficient in SPC and BOQP processes
• Able to use GSPAS and process definition systems.
• Knowledgeable in ISO quality systems
• Familiar with Autocad, Teamcenter Vismockup, and process simulation programs
• Basic knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques
• Familiar with data analysis and virtual process planning and design.
