We are searching for the best talent for VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution Specialist.
Purpose:
The VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s Capital Sales objectives through expert clinical, technical, and commercial support across the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution portfolio. This position helps establish and execute cost‑effective, results‑driven, and professionally managed programs and initiatives that enhance the company’s competitive position and drive growth.
Contributes to the development and implementation of innovative, data‑driven programs and initiatives that support Capital Sales goals.
Integrates market analysis, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights to continually improve Capital Sales strategies.
Generates growth initiatives by reviewing analytics and translating insights into actionable sales and customer retention strategies.
Partners closely with the Robotic Sales Manager and Joint Reconstruction Sales Force to drive customer engagement and support pipeline acceleration.
Clinical Expertise & Procedure Support
Serves as a clinical and technical expert for the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution, fully proficient in procedural workflows, system operation, and clinical attributes.
Attends cases within customer accounts to advise surgeons on procedural techniques and optimal use of the VELYS platform.
Assists with onboarding new robotic customers, ensuring seamless integration of the VELYS system into their clinical practice.
Leads the coordination and execution of system installations, site readiness assessments, and customer in-service training.
Ensures a smooth post‑installation transition, supporting the adoption and continuous use of the system within customer sites.
Builds strong, trusted relationships with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Facilitates Commercial and Professional Education programs to ensure customers and internal teams are properly trained on the VELYS solution.
Coaches and mentors junior colleagues by sharing best practices, clinical insights, and operational processes.
Works collaboratively with multiple internal teams—including Sales, Marketing, Education, and Technical Support—to ensure alignment and consistent delivery of commercial objectives.
Supports the integration of joint reconstruction customers into the broader digital surgery ecosystem.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Qualified Scientific / Technical / Health Science Background.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific, technical, or health science discipline such as Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics.
Post graduate studies in Business Administration are considered an advantage
Experience requirements:
Minimum 5 years in a clinical/OR-facing role supporting medical devices (e.g. medical devices sales, clinical application specialist, OR/surgical technologist, biomedical/field service with strong OR presence.
At least 2 years of experience with Robotic total knee replacement systems.
