Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Vending Machine Inventory & Stocking Specialist to support our growing vending operations. This role combines on-site travel to customer locations with remote inventory management and ordering responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, customer-friendly, and comfortable working independently. You will play a key role in ensuring vending machines are accurately stocked, inventory is ordered on time, and customer needs are met—while also identifying opportunities for additional sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel between our warehouse and customer locations to service and stock vending machines (within approximately a 100-mile radius)
  • Visually count machine inventory and use remote software tools to track stock levels
  • Organize and label vending machines and bins for optimal use of space
  • Ensure vending machines are stocked accurately, neatly, and on schedule
  • Maintain proof of delivery for all items delivered to customers to support accurate invoicing
  • Train customer staff on proper protocols for scanning items
  • Place inventory orders with vendors to meet customer demand
  • Monitor usage trends and anticipate restocking needs
  • Interact professionally with customer contacts on-site and provide friendly, responsive service
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for additional products, machine adjustments, or upselling
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and service activity
  • Safely operate a company-provided van and follow all driving and safety policies

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel locally and operate a company vehicle
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfort using computers, mobile devices, and software systems
  • Ability to learn new software quickly (training provided)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with customer-facing experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Experience in vending, route service, stocking, inventory, or logistics
  • Basic understanding of inventory management or ordering processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel
  • Familiarity with industrial products such as PPE/safety, abrasives, adhesives, fasteners
  • Sales awareness or comfort identifying upsell opportunities
  • Experience working in a hybrid or self-directed role

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 40–50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors at customer sites

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
